According to reports a road accident that resulted in the deaths of one person occurred this morning at the main entrance of the Prison compound in the Garasbaaley district of Somalia’s capital Mogadishu.<\/p>\n
According to information shared with Mustaqbal Media by various sources, the crash happened after a collision between a car and a motorcycle carrying passengers resulting the death.<\/p>\n
Security personnel from the Federal Government immediately arrived at the scene to take the deceased from the scene of the accident. For a short time, traffic was disrupted on the road connecting Mogadishu and Afgooye.<\/p>\n
The crash site is located in an area where part of the road is temporarily blocked due to operations by the carried out by the forces. Vehicles are often forced to pass through one lane, and traffic congestion sometimes forms there during which time accidents have occurred.<\/p>\n
Authorities continue to call for stricter enforcement of traffic regulations to curb the growing number of accidents on the city\u2019s roads.<\/p>\n
