The bold move, announced through a cabinet dispatch and confirmed by the Ministry of Interior, means that eligible travelers can now enter Kenya without applying for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA), filling out lengthy paperwork, or paying visa fees.<\/p>\n
Under the new directive, African travelers will be allowed to stay in Kenya for up to two months visa-free, while citizens of East African Community (EAC) countries will continue to enjoy a six-month stay period under the region\u2019s free movement protocols.<\/p>\n
Somalia and Libya Excluded on Security Grounds.<\/strong><\/p>\n However, the visa waiver excludes nationals from Somalia and Libya, with Kenyan authorities citing security concerns as the primary reason.
