The President of the Hir-Shabelle Regional Government, Ali Abdullahi Hussein (Ali Guudlawe) has announced total war against ‘AS’ in the West of the Regional Government to liberate the remaining areas still under the control of Alshabab fighters.<\/p>\n
In a speech he delivered at a welcoming event held by the Local Council of Jowhar District in the Middle Shabelle Region in Hir-Shabelle Regional Government Center the president of Hir-Shabeelle State detailed the ongoing operations against ‘AS’<\/p>\n
“We must unite as Hir-Shabelle to free and liberate our region. The peace we have seen in the east must be taken to the West River and we should unite to free the enemies in our region to enjoy peace and stability.There will be no peace in the Hir-Shabelle region as far as AS are present,” said the President of the Hir-Shabelle Regional Government, Ali Abdullahi Hussein (Ali Gudlawe).<\/p>\n
He continued and added that the ongoing organization and prepations of the war against ‘AS’ is generally an objective brought jointly by the community and the administration so that the areas that are still under the control of Alshabab fighters are liberated and basic services delivered to the residents living in the areas.<\/p>\n
The President of the Hir-Shabelle Regional Government, Ali Gudlawe Hussein, went on a working trip to Warsheikh, Raagge-Elle, Adalle, Masjid Ali Gadud, Al-Kowsar, Aden-Yabaal, Moqokori, Tardo, Jalalaqsi, El-Baraf, Biyo-Adde, Mahaday and several other areas.<\/p>\n
President Gudlawe had just concluded weeks trips tour of liberated areas as part of a broader strategy to consolidate gains against Al-Shabaab and foster an environment conducive to sustainable development and peace in Somalia.<\/p>\n
Top government leaders including Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud called out a total war against Al-Shabab fighters until victory as the rare collaboration between the federal government forces, international security partners and local forces known as macawisley has helped produce the most significant territorial gains against Al-Shabab fighters with several key areas liberated from the group.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
