Military court in Somalia’s capital,Mogadishu have sentenced a soldier to death penalty for killing civilian in barbershop altercation. The soldier identified as Daud Bashir, was found guilty of killing a civilian who refused to let Bashir cut his hair first at the barbershop in March 2024.<\/p>\n
Bashir entered the barbershop and attempted to move ahead in the queue, prompting a confrontation with the civilian who was already seated in the barber\u2019s chair. Witnesses report that the civilian refused to yield his place, leading to a heated exchange between the two.<\/p>\n

The deceased reluctantly declined and then Bashir took his gun and shot the deceased according to the eyewitnesses then who narrated to the events that led to the fatal shooting of the deceased.<\/p>\n
