Somaliland: Police force nab members of terror cells network

The Somaliland Police forces in the city of Lascaanod, have taken control of a terrorist network group that has been accused of being behind the killings that have been taking place in the city in recent years.

As reported by local newspapers of Somaliland  the Sool Regional Police Force, the army has captured this group and now in custody.The police says the group were threat to the peace and stability.

“The Sool Regional Police Force, led by the Sool Regional Police Division Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ahmed Shire, has seized a network of terrorists who have carried out premeditated murders in the Sool Region,” as confirmed by a statement from the Sool Regional Police Division.

The newspaper said that the group resisted the police when they were being arrested, but the police managed to arrest them, and the army is chasing other groups who escaped and are in a mission to arrest them too.

It was reported that one of the criminal gangs was injured , and then the police went after the injured man, and they arrested a group of 7 people who lived in a house in the city.

The group, which was said to consist of 6 men and 1 woman, was immediately taken to the city of Hargeisa by the police.
