Somalia’s Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre to Chair Cabinet meeting in Mogadishu tonight

The Council of Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia is scheduled to hold a special meeting tonight in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu to discuss several key issues.

According to various close and confidant sources, the meeting will be chaired by the Prime Minister of the Federal government of Somalia, Hamza Abdi Barre, and will focus on issues related to politics, security, economy and other issues.

Ministers of the Federal Government are expected to brief the Council of Ministers about the new development issues on their respective ministries such as the Minister of Foreign Affairs who is expected to give detailed reports about the last meetings he attended outside the country.

The Minister of Defense of the Government of the Federal Republic of Somalia is expected to share a complete report with the Council of Ministers on the ongoing activities related to the future of the ATMIS operation in the country.

The meetings of the Somali Council of Ministers are focused on issues related to Security, Politics, Economy, Elections among other key agendas.
