Somalia’s Cabinet Discusses National Progress in Security, Diplomacy, and Economy

The Federal Government of Somalia’s Cabinet convened its regular weekly meeting today, chaired by the Prime Minister of the federal government of Somalia Hamza Abdi Barre, to discuss the nation’s overall situation.

During the session, various reports were presented, highlighting advancements in diplomacy, international relations, security, and the country’s economy.

Key outcomes from the meeting included the approval of amendments to the Penal Code and the National Policy on the Establishment of the Higher Institute for Legal Training and Development. These amendments were proposed by the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs.

The Cabinet’s discussions and decisions reflect a continued commitment to enhancing Somalia’s legal framework, security, and diplomatic presence on the global stage.
