The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Government of Somalia, Sheikh Aden Mohamed Nur (Madobe) paid a visit to the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) National Emergency Operations Center in Mogadishu today.
The Speaker was received by the Commissioner of SoDMA, Mr. Mohamud Moalim Abdulle who briefed him on the Agency tasks, particularly the latest developments regarding recent terrorist attacks at Lido Beach.
The Commissioner of SoDMA, Mr. Mohamud Moalim Abdulle thanked the Speaker for the visitation and briefed him about the work the agency do for the Somali people and their support in the fight against the challenges that the country face including security threats.
The speaker commended the leadership and the staff of SODMA for their vital work for the public and thanked the Commissioner and the staff of the agency for the warm welcome and promised the government support to work with the Agency closely.
