The Commander of the Somali National Army, Major General Ibrahim Sheikh Muhuddin, along with other officials and top officials of the government arrived in Adan Yabal District, Middle Shabelle Region, Hir-Shabelle Regional Government.
The Chief of Defence Forces of Somalia, Gen. Ibrahim Sheikh Muhiyidin along other security officials and top officials from the government, met with troops stationed in the Adan-Yabal district of the MiddleShabelle region of Hirshabelle Regional Government.
General Ibrahim Muhiyidin during his visit met with the officers of the Federal Government forces in Adan Yabal District and received summarised security briefing, encouraged the forces to accelerate and continue their fight against Al-Shabab fighters and discussed the strengthening of security in the District.
The Commander of the Armed Forces said the Federal Government is committed to the fight against the ‘AS’ in the areas of the State Governments and will meet with the officers and commanders of their various units to ensure the operations are intensified.
The Federal Government of Somalia is carrying out massive operations against ‘AS’ in the Middle Shabelle, Hiraan, Galgaduud and Mudug Regions which are part of the Hir-Shabelle and Galmudug Regional Governments.
