Somalia’s Auditor General, Mr. Ahmed Isse Gutale, attended the opening of the meeting of the Association of African Auditing Organizations (AFROSAI-E) which is ongoing in Ghana’s capital, Accra.
The conference, which is scheduled to last for 4 days, is expected to analyze important issues such as the establishment of an accounting system that will facilitate the realization of the expectations of the community, annual planning and risk assessment and follow-up of the recommendations issued in the inspection reports of the Audit General Institutions.
The conference which was hosted this year by the Auditor General of Ghana is attended by the Auditor Generals of 26 countries who are members of the African Association of Auditor Generals who speak English language and other development and international organizations.
The conference will also focus on streamlining uniform auditing process that is transparent and independent.
