SoDMA Provides Lifeline of Aid Amid Funding Cuts in Somalia

In the face of dwindling global humanitarian funding, the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) continues to be a beacon of hope for vulnerable communities across Somalia as they provide humanitarian aid.

With the ongoing challenges posed by food insecurity and natural disasters, SoDMA has indicated that it intensified its efforts to provide life-saving assistance to those in need.

In June, SoDMA’s initiatives reached a significant milestone, as the agency delivered direct food aid to 355 households across Somalia.

The agency successfully coordinated the distribution of meat to over 148,040 families nationwide.
