Security forces of Puntland State in Somalia have on Thursday afternoon successfully intercepted and destroyed three explosive-laden drones deployed by ISIS militants during an attempted attack in the Cal-Miskaad mountains of the Bari region. The attempted drone attack, which occurred Thursday night, comes as Puntland intensifies its counterterrorism operations aimed at clearing ISIS fighters from their strongholds in the rugged mountain terrain.
