The president of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, met today with the top-performing students who excelled in the national high school examination.
During the meeting, he pledged his full support and expressed his commitment to helping them continue their education praising them for their dedication and commitment.
Hassan Sheikh commended the students for their hard work, resilience, and outstanding academic results, encouraging them to keep up their efforts as they continue their studies in higher education.
“Every student who is interested in continuing their education inside the country will have access to a free education opportunity,” the President said,
He further encouraged the students to stay focused on their studies, noting that the government would also assist them in making their educational journey easier an important step toward shaping their future and serving the country.
The President pledged free university education for students who wish to continue their studies in Somalia and announced plans to establish another public university offering specialised technology courses to expand opportunities for young Somalis interested in modern science and technology.
