The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble and the President of Galmudug State of Somalia Ahmed Abdi Kariye Qoor-Qoor visited those wounded in yesterday’s fighting between government forces and Al-Shabab in Wisil area of Mudug region.
Doctors and authorities in health centers shared the situation and the plight of the victims in yesterday’s attack with the Prime Minister of Somalia and Ahmed Qoor-Qoor.
some patients who appeared to have severe physical injuries were admitted to receive treatment at heath facilities in Mogadishu and and Prime Minister and President of Galmudug federal member state attended a medical briefing on their status.
Sources said told Mustaqbal that Prime Minister and President of DG Roble Galmudug are making arrangements to have the parents with serious health condition and in need of specialized treatment as a result of the situation of their injuries be airlifted abroad for specialized treatment.
DG Galmudug presidential statement said that President Kariye has decided to be launched airstrikes offensive against Al-Shabaab so as to prevent similar attacks in the Wisil.
The death toll has risen to more than 20 while the number of injured is much higher after Al-Shabaab launched an attack that began on a car bomb in Wisil area of Mudug region.
