The director of the National Security and Intelligence Agency, NISA, Abdullahi Mohamed Ali (Sanbaloolshe) made key leadership changes today, appointing new commanders in Banadir region and Aden Adde International Airport.
The director of NISA has appointed Abdifatah Ibrahim Shaweye as the commander of Security and Intelligence of Banadir region,Abdifitah Shawe has been named head of the Benadir region, focusing on improving security in Mogadishu. He once served as the deputy of NISA,while Abdullqadir Hayow has been appointed as the new head of security at the Adan Abdulle International Airport
The Chief of Security and Intelligence of Banadir region, Muhidin Warbac, has also been appointed as the deputy director. Warbac has been removed from office since the end of May 2022 after he was appointed by the former Prime Minister of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble.
The change coincides with the appointment of NISA Director Abdullahi Sanbaloolshe as the Director of the Agency for the third time.
