The newly elected leader of Galmudug State, Liban Ahmed Hassan, has officially taken over the leadership of the regional administration following a handover ceremony held at the Galmudug Presidential Palace on Wednesday.
The ceremony was attended by Galmudug officials and other distinguished guests.
Former Galmudug President Ahmed Abdi Karie, who addressed the gathering, highlighted the different stages of the regional administration’s development. He also outlined the achievements of his administration during his tenure.
The official handover marks the beginning of Liban Ahmed Hassan’s leadership, with his inauguration ceremony expected to follow.
