Mogadishu – In a collaborative effort to enhance security measures, Captain Khali Ahmed, the Head of Community Policing of the Somali Police Force, on Wednesday held a crucial meeting with ATMIS Police Commissioner CP Hilary Sao Kanu in Mogadishu. The discussion focused on key aspects such as security strategies, joint patrols, and the ongoing efforts in community policing.
The meeting deliberated on the commitment of both the Somali Police Force and ATMIS Police to bolster cooperation, exchange expertise, and work together in addressing security challenges in the region. CP Hilary Sao Kanu emphasized the importance of joint patrols and community policing initiatives “as integral components of ensuring public safety.”
This collaboration is part of broader initiatives by ATMIS Police to provide training and mentorship to officers of the Somali Police Force.
