Al-Shabaab fighters attack government security base in Qalimow, 30km south of Jowhar, the regional capital of Hir Shabelle region.
There was heavy exchange of fire arms between Alshabab fighters and the government soldiers that took place at Qalimow .
The fighting reportedly left two government soldiers dead and one civilian wounded in Qalimow area.
Reports also indicate that a land mine has blasted on vehicle that left Jowhar where government soldiers were on board killing two soldiers on the spot and wounding two others.
