The Somaliland Police has arrested the suspect Ahmed Sharif, who is accused of killing the late Amin Said Sidiq of 22 years of age in Hargeisa.
The suspect, who is from the Oromo ethnic group, is accused of killing the deceased with his knee. When the police were informed about the incident of the murder, they arrested the accused within hourswho escaped from the scene of the murder.
“The army will be on the toe of anyone who violates the law and will assure his arrest with the help of God ,” a statement from the Somaliland Police said.
Finally, the Police Force praises the people of Somaliland in general for their cooperation with security and the information they always share with the police when incidents of insecurities happen.
