The meeting of the National Consultative Council is scheduled to open today in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, which is expected to take place at Villa Somalia.
The meeting chaired by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is expected to be attended by Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre, Presidents of Puntland Regional Government Saeed Abdullahi Deni, Galmudug Ahmed Abdi Kariye, Hirshabelle Ali Gudlawe Hussein, South West Abdiazis Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen. and the Governor of Banadir Yusuf Hussein Jimale (Madale).
The leaders of the regional administrations arrived in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, in the afternoon yesterday, and were welcomed at the Aden Adde airport by a committee appointed by the government to welcome the leaders, which was led by the Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation Ahmed Maalin Fiqi.
During the meeting, it is planned to focus on the war against Al-Shabab group which is going on in most of the regions of the country, it is also expected that the meeting will be analyzed to strengthen the relationship between the central government and the regional governments.
The meeting, which is the third chaired by the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, since his election is expected to produce the conclusions of the meeting based on the points agreed upon by the leaders before the meeting.
