In Beledweyne, the capital of Hiran region, the President of Hir-Shabelle Ali Gudlawe Hussein, his Vice President Yusuf Ahmed Hagar Dabaged and a group of candidates who raised complains against the election administration are holding a special meeting.
Candidates told Gudlawe and Dabageed that the reason for the complaint was that most of the seats were reserved for individuals whom the top leadership of Hir-Shabelle wanted to be a member of the 11th House of the People.
Ali Gudlawe Hussein and Yusuf Ahmed Dabageed distanced themselves from saying that some of the seats in question had been closed to the people they wanted as Hir-Shabelle’s vice president had previously said that individuals would be registered for the seats in Beledweyne.
Hir-Shabelle President Ali Gudlawe told the candidates that the election will be open and that no one or group will be reserved a seat for the upcoming elections in Beledweyne.
Hir-Shabelle has produced a number of obvious MPs who are directly affiliated with Villa Somalia, including Fahad Yasin Haji Dahir who received HOP # 086 that FEIT Committee has suspended the election.
Candidates who raised complains and attended the meeting included: Somalia Education Minister Abdullahi Godah Barre, Security Minister Abdirizak Omar Mohamed, Security Director Abdullahi Mohamed Ali Sanbaloshe, MP Amina Mohamed Abdi and other officials.
